Who we are?
For His Renown
That's the name of our youth group because that says who we are and what we do. We are a group of young people that doesn't care about what the world thinks or wants. We live, breathe, write, play, worship, sing, read etc. all for the name of Jesus. He is our savior and our God and we desire to make Him look big and awesome to a world that does not know him.
We Do this by being Upward, Inward and Outward.
Upward means that we worship God, in everything that we do. Our focus is the glory of God. We know that if we are focused on Him, then the problems and the things of this world don't seem that important.
Inward means that we are daily developing a personal relationship with Him and with the people around us. We believe that a youth group must not only worship together on Sunday and Wednesday, but through out the week. We are a fellowship of believers.
Outward means that we go out into the world to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Whether it is getting kicked out of walmart, teaching VBS in Kentucky or preparing food for kids in Nicaragua, we want to share the good news of Jesus Christ.
