HopeKeepers Ministry

  A Ministry for those with chronic illnesses/chronic pain

 

           Visible or invisible chronic illnesses, pain and disabilities bring times of unpredictability, feelings of loneliness, isolation and questions of adequacy and usefulness to the Kingdom of God. This is a very stressful time for individuals and their families.

HopeKeepers is a ministry of encouragement, compassion, hope and loving support for individuals and their families as they walk through life. A HopeKeepers group will help in providing spiritual, emotional, relational and practical help for individuals.

If you or someone you know might be interested in this ministry, please contact Jane Usher.  Jane is a volunteer Personal Life Coach and a member of RBBC. She is a veteran who lives with disabilities, chronic illnesses/pain on a daily basis. Meet & Greet Session

We will have a meet & greet session on February 12th & March 4th in the Agape room (610) after the morning service.  Whether attending for the first time or a former member this is the time to register and to ask questions.

HopeKeeper Sign-Up Form

Those interested in learning more about HopeKeepers can fill out the sign up form or  call Jane Usher at 894-5293 or email Jane at hope4you247@pbtcomm.net.  Our 2012 Hopekeeper group will start back in the spring - March 7th - May 2nd from 10:00am - 11:00 pm. The 2012 fall session will start September 5th - October 31st from 10:00 - 11:00am.  Meetings will take place in the Agape Sunday school classroom (located beside the library).  The book we will use for this study is "Silver Bullet - God's Rx for Chronic Pain".  Please sign up early so that we may order books and receive them before the study begins.  The cost for the book is $15.00 - that covers the book & any other material needed.
